I love spreading butter on bread, putting sugar on it and toasting it! Yum! But ever since I went to Singapore to work, I had been unable to do so simply because I don't have a toaster *sniff*. Alas, my fate was set to change one night when I saw my housemate toasting her bread with cheese on the stove. Hey! *bulb lights up* Perhaps I can try that with butter and sugar!
And so I did. Now, I can toast bread whenever I have the time. I know most of you knows how to toast bread I still want to post how I do mine *hehe*. So here's what I use and do:
Step one, I spread butter on both sides of the bread. On one side though, I spread butter thickly and sprinkle brown sugar on it (I can taste my toasted bread now).
Step two, I sprinkle brown sugar on one side (You can sprinkle on both sides, it's your choice!). I used a teaspoon because my hands are all greasy with butter.
Step 3, I place the bread on a pan greased with butter. I turn the stove on low fire to avoid burning with bread (duh).
Then I flip the bread over.
Tadaa! Toasted bread with butter and sugar. Time to eat! Enjoy :)
